I was referred for a private self funded MRI at this hospital. Initially I found one of the admin staff to be quite abrupt, there was a lot of confusion regarding prices which seemed to increase significantly as the referral went through. The clinicians as well as some of the admin staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful, following my MRI a doctor helped relieve my anxiety by giving me an ultrasound and checking that against some of the images from the MRI scan as this couldnt be read until the morning. This consultant stayed late to do this for me and was extremely knowledgable and kind. Totally put my mind at rest and as a result I had the best nights sleep in weeks! Thank you so much to all the lovely staff.
Absolutely disgusting service. Taken 6 weeks to then tell me that my emergency referral had been rejected. The NHS should not be wasting public money using their services.

Great hospital with lovely staff, could do with decent WiFi though as the further in the hospital you are the worse the phone signal is.
I had surgery at the hospital on the 17th april through the nhs and the staff were so kind and caring from the start, my friend stayed with me and he was given complementry drinks which is kind of them and kept him informed when i was in theatre. The room itself was very clean with all mod cons including a small safe. I would certainly recommend anyone who is waiting for surgery to enquire about going to the spire through the nhs with their doctor
