Aside from an extremely expensive car park, Thorndon cannot be faulted. It's a fabulous country park with something for everyone.
Fun for whole family. Great walks and even geacashing treasures
Spent many wonderful hours here, pushing through the forest where possible or sitting in the centre enjoying a hot drink.Reserved disabled parking spaces. Be aware in line with all Essex council policy *unless* you have a tax exempt, zero rated vehicle you may also park in this spaces but must pay the appropriate rates.Disabled toilets & wash places just outside the building.You cannot do better in my view than spend a day here with the whole family, that includes the grand children & great grand children! :)Birds, wild life so many varieties & the squirrels always great favourites.
