This restaurant scores top marks in my opinion. I am a massive fan of Turkish food and have eaten in many Turkish resturants. The Fat Turk is hands down the nicest of them all. My mum who travelled to Turkey last year said the food at the Fat Turk even beat the food in Turkey. The service was fantastic! They were attentive, polite, calm and in sync for the entire night. The ambience and atmosphere was brilliant. Perfect place for a family meal or a catchup with girlfriends or a date. It is calm, warm and cosy. Choice of drinks was 10/10! And although the restaurant closed at 10, at 10.29 they were not rushing us away. Was still happy to tame pictures of us and were exceptionally pleasant. I was well impressed and will most definately be back!

Great restaurant with excellent service and a good menu. The food is good but perhaps a bit pricey for what it is.

Absolutely loved it here ... went on a Sunday for my birthday weekend... higher end price scale but everything was really superb! Highly recommend

Amazing design, interior and furniture. Food was nice, however i came with a group of 10 and we all ordered our food with rice and we were only given 5 rices. We asked the server why and they said we have to share each rice between 2 people? When we each ordered our own individual and were charged for 10 rices. The bowl of each rice was a very small portion aswell. Took a back & forth with the waiter for about 10 minutes before they finally gave us the rest of our rice, for this reason i wouldnt go back

Great food, fantastic atmosphere. Someone was at the door when I got there and she was very polite and well dressed, took me to my table. Everything was great until a man came and asked me to take my cap off, I found it rather odd as Ive had dinner at much luxurious places with my cap on which Ive been wearing since I had a hair transplant incidentally in Turkey few months ago. I didnt want to cause a scene so I just took off the cap, clearly the man is from an era and and his brain is locked in an era where decisions were only made by men in suits, he should remember most of the decisions that are made in the world that control his life now are by men and women who dont judge someone based on what they are wearing and wouldnt look at someone wearing a T-shirt and cap any different to someone in a suit. The strange part was I was well dressed as I had meetings with important clients that day. I respect rules of any establishment but of course I wont be returning.
