Compared to other bridal shops that I had visited, Matchmaker were certainly the most friendly and helpful. My dress was gorgeous and I felt like a princess - have recommended them numerous times since my wedding and everybody else seems to agree! Thank you Matchmaker!!!
My sister Inlaw to be purchased her dress from this shop. As you all know every girl dreams of the day when they go to buy the perfect dress for the perfect day. My sister Inlaw paid for the dress, then she was told she had to collect the dress because the shop was closing, big fat lie, also when she finally got the dress took it home and opened to have a look she was shocked and devastated as the dress was filthy, was covered in make up and grubby down the front. When my sister Inlaw to be contacted the shop she was spoken to in a rude manner and was told if u have an issue phone trading standards. They said that they will not refund her and basically if its dirty go get it cleaned. They are are a disgrace and have no customer care or skills at all. The dress was perfect when tried on and paid for so how did the dress get so dirty after it was paid for. There attitude was desgusting. So anyone looking for there perfect dress for there perfect day find somewhere that will care for ur dream dress and have care for there customers.
My future bride to be brought her dress from here only to find make up and marks all over the dress when she picked it up after final payment. After contacting the staff she was told to take it to trading standards as they would not clean or refund the money, to me this is disgusting customer service especially for a company that is selling something that shes been dreaming of wearing since she was a little girl. I hope people read this review and consider somewhere else to buy their dream gown as this is not the shop with the fairy god mother only the wicked witch.
My daughter collected her wedding dress after much pressure from the management saying they were closing for refurb! It was sold as end of line stock, when she checked it, it was very dirty, makeup all over it and dirty marks down the front! When she spoke to the person on the phone, she was very rude and told her to go to trading standards! It's going to cost another 80.00 or more to have it cleaned, so much for after sales service, I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone.
I thought I knew what sort of wedding dress I wanted but wasn't finding anything. The staff then tried something a little out of left field and it was the dress! I also got my veil and shoes from here, and they let me come back with my mum to accessory shop. The staff at Matchmaker are calm and professional and I'd definitely recommend having a look here for your dress and accessories.
